BrewMeisters Toastmasters ("we," "us," "our") is a Toastmasters International–affiliated public speaking and leadership club based in Brea, California. This privacy policy explains what information we collect through our website and SMS messaging program, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:

Submit our contact form (name, email, message)
Sign up for our mailing list (name, email, and optionally mobile phone number)
Submit a membership application (name, email, phone, mailing address)

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the site — such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed — for site analytics and security only.

How We Use Your Information

To respond to inquiries you send through our contact form
To send meeting reminders and club news to mailing list subscribers
To process and respond to membership applications
To improve our website and member experience

SMS Messaging Program

Mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data) collected for our SMS meeting reminder program will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.

Subscribers who provide their phone number and check the SMS opt-in checkbox on our mailing list signup form will receive meeting reminder text messages from BrewMeisters Toastmasters. Messages are sent approximately 4 times per month: one reminder 7 days before each scheduled meeting and one on the morning of each meeting. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.

We retain phone numbers, opt-in timestamps, and IP addresses only for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period thereafter to demonstrate consent if requested by a carrier or regulator.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate our club:

Resend — to deliver club emails on our behalf
Twilio — to deliver SMS meeting reminders to subscribers who have opted in
Hostinger — for website and database hosting

These providers are contractually limited to using your information solely to provide services to us. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are never shared with any party other than Twilio for the sole purpose of message delivery.

Cookies and Analytics

We use only the minimal cookies necessary for site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.

Your Rights and Choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email or via our unsubscribe page.
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message.
You can request a copy or deletion of your personal information by emailing admin@toastmastersbrea.com.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
